ABOUT
It’s a Harvest for your senses. Welcome to the one Michigan bike tour that lets you
see, touch, smell and taste the riches
of this breathtaking region. The Lakeshore Harvest Ride glides you through the rolling countryside of Southwest Michigan. You can visit wineries, cider mills, microbreweries, family farms, orchards and art studios along the way. And there are individual bike routes for every rider, ranging from 15 to 62 miles in length.
CAUSE
The Blue Star Trail will be a 20-mile paved, non-motorized, shared use recreational trail that connects people and communities from Saugatuck to South Haven, Michigan. The Trail will improve safety, wellness, economic health, and our environment. Friends of the Blue Star Trail is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promote and fund construction of the Trail, in partnership with our local communities. Friends raises money for engineering, local match funding required for state/federal matching construction grants, and ongoing maintenance. The municipalities along the route apply for state/federal matching grants and will own the sections of the Trail within their borders.
